A groove male adaptor (sometimes called a grooved-to-male threaded adapter or cam & groove male adapter) is a pipe fitting that has one end with a grooved connection and the other end with an external (male) connection:

🔹 Grooved end — fits onto a grooved pipe and connects using a mechanical groove coupling.
🔹 Male end — usually a male threaded or male hose barb/shank connection that can screw into or fit into another component or hose.
